World Studies, taught in connection with World Literature, focuses on the cultures of Asia, Africa, Pacific Rim, China, India, Europe, and the Middle East. Students will become familiar with terminology related to the study of cultures, explore the historical development of these cultures, and develop an appreciation of cultural differences.

Students will work with developing skills in outlining, working in small groups, doing oral interpretations and presentations, and making and using multi-media visuals.
