International Center

Mission Statement

The International Center is a service organization supporting public education in Oakland County.  The International Center seeks to connect the local educational system, educational systems around the world, and local and international business communities through student exchange programs.

The International Center strives to enhance the student educational experience on an international level with the goal of developing citizens who willing participate in the global marketplace.

Enrichments are a vital and exciting part of the International Academy experience. Students are exposed to new, intellectually challenging concepts and physical challenges delivered in a positive and supportive environment. Participants are encouraged to use this program as an opportunity to develop their personal interests, sample new experiences and challenge themselves outside their normal range of interests. The Enrichment Program offers a variety of educational experiences in the arts, culture, history, language, STEM and domestic and international travel.
Graduation Requirements - Enrichments are a graduation requirement of the International Academy.  Students who attend the IA for four years must complete six different Enrichments, including one career mentorship.
The Enrichment office is located in the International Center at the Okma Campus.
