The Civil Rights Movement:  6-Day ‘Then & Now’ IA History Enrichment Trip  February 17-22, 2020 (during Mid-Winter Break)

This engaging & meaningful experience will begin in ATLANTA, continue in BIRMINGHAM SELMA and end in MONTGOMERY, before traveling home again.  Highly relevant connections with our school’s MYP Humanities Program will be made in both Georgia and Alabama.  E.g. the 1965 Selma-to-Montgomery March for Voting Rights will come alive by reflectively crossing the historic Edmund Pettus Bridge together.

Join us!  Cost: $1,679; this is an all-inclusive price: round-trip airfare, ground transportation, hotel accommodations (Quad Occupancy), three meals per day, sightseeing and evening activities, as well as medical insurance.  Price is based on 35 travelers.
