Student Initiatives
The International Academy recognizes the irreversible consequences caused by the incorrect disposal of balloons. As a result of this, the International Academy prohibits all intentional balloon releases on school campuses, as well as affiliated events. The International Academy also ensures that all clubs, organizations, or classes within the school will be informed of the correct way to dispose of balloons, if they choose to use them. We, as a Michigan Green School, want to take a significant step in preserving the environment and wildlife around us.
